In 1901, Isabella Bidwell, 4 years of age, was shown residing at Hastnoll(?) Cottages, George Street, Lower Holloway, Islington, London, England. Other famly members included: Catherina Bidwell, 39; Charles Bidwell, 42, contractor labourer (earthwork); Charles Bidwell, 6; Elizabeth Bidwell, 10; Emma Bidwell, 13; Harry Bidwell, 8; and (Alice) Louisa Bidwell, 1. In 1905, Isobella Bidwell, 12, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 104 Barnardo children en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. (Her sister, Alice Bidwell, immigrated on the Tunisian in 1910 with Barnardos.)

In 1911, Isabella Bidwell, 19, was shown as a domestic to Samuel and Mary McHannel of Amaranth, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada. Her date of birth is shown as June 1891 and her immigration year as 1903.

On March 8, 1920, Isobel Bidwell, 23, factory worker for Can. Gen. Elec., daughter of Thomas Bidwell of England, died of influenza and pneumonia at Nicholls Hospital, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Her sister, Alice Bidwell, was the informant. Isabella Bidwell is buried at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, along with 46 other Barnardo children who were a part of Hazlebrae House.
